LISA MCCORKLE

New York City native Lisa McCorkle has long been captivated by the power of storytelling. Her passion for reading and creative writing has always been a cornerstone of her connection with the world, complemented by her innate ability to listen and engage with others authentically.

As a mother, mentor, facilitator, and author, she brings a wealth of experience to her work. Lisa has published several guided journals, and the novel “The Battle of Finance and Fame”—A family-friendly financial novel & guide for teens and young adults navigating the intersection of financial literacy and life's aspirations.

She holds a Master’s degree in Urban Studies from Queens College, City University of New York and has over 20 years in leadership experience. Her dedication to education is reflected in her work, imparting financial literacy, creative writing and social & emotional awareness workshops to middle and high school students. This passion laid the groundwork for LMC Connection an organization dedicated to connecting people, passion and purpose.
